  • Sports Day Summer Fun 2018

    Fri 06 Jul 2018
Wow, what an amazing morning of summer fun and sport. The whole school took part in a wide range of activities including both track and field events. All pupils had the opportunity to compete as part of their House Point Team and also against each other. Points were awarded and are all combined to see which House Point Team accumulated the most points. It was a hot day but with the huge support from parents who provided gazebos we were able to race and compete for longer.

A huge thank you to the PTA for funding this awesome shelter for the benefit of all our children. Another huge thank you to Ben Reincke for building it! Wow I am not sure who will be more excited - the staff or the children?

  • Bank Holiday Reading

    Tue 08 May 2018 M.Jones
This young lady spent her bank holiday on a letter quest around Shrewsbury, she found out the BOOKS BUILD BRAINS! I couldn’t agree more with this statement. Keep up the good work young lady and set a good example for all your friends, reading is so important.
  • Mathematics Morning

    Mon 23 Apr 2018 M.Jones
I have had an entertaining day visiting  all the classes looking at the impact of our focus on developing Mathematical Reasoning. It was great to see the iPads being used to support the teaching of key concepts. The children also spent time explaining their thinking and coaching one another.  It was great to see how children use a range of mathematical language and ask lots of questions. Try asking your children to explain the methods they have been using in school, maybe you will learn some new strategies, because we never stop learning no matter what age we are!
