Eco Council are ready to go!

The focus of this year for Eco Council will be Improving Biodiversity. We will be looking at cataloguing the wildlife immediately around the school building, especially

on the big playground, and trying to encourage in new species. This term’s plans include installing a bat box and new bird feeder, making a leaf refuge for mini beasts, and reinstating our Wellie planters. In the photo above, the Council are putting together an assembly on poisonous plants to tell the younger children why we need to be careful with wild berries and fungus.
