Multiplication Tests
Please ensure that your child is practicing their multiplications because we have a multiplication test every Friday. Year 2's are expected to know all of their 2s, 10s and 5s. Although they might know them like 2,4,6,8... they are expected to know 0x2=0, 1x2=2, 2x2=4 ... off by heart. In the multiplication test they are given 2 minutes to answer all 12 questions. They will not move on to the next multiplication until they correctly answer 12/12 in their tests. Once they know their 2s, 10s and 5s, they will move onto their 3s and so on.
