Extraordinary sportsman and top actor came to visit us. We were really privileged to hear about his sporting career playing playing for the Harlem Globetrotters for 4 years and latest film projects having acted in Lord of the Rings, Avatar 2 and Doctor Who. Then we all had basketball workshops with him! Paul also shared about how it is important to celebrate our differences. Paul has spent many years travelling the world, enjoying playing basketball at a professional level.

He holds two Guinness World Records: the tallest basketball player and the tallest man in Britain and is also the tallest actor in the world!

This week we have organised a Multicultural Week so that we can continue to open the pupils eyes to the world around them. This week has been set aside so that they can look more intensely at another culture linked to the 2024 Olympics. They voted for the culture that they wanted to learn about and have looked at areas such as geography, religion, music and dance, flag, food, sports, art and many more aspects of the culture.
