Our Year 5 children have been involved in a new initiative called Rest Easy: they will apply to become ambassadors for the Rest Easy method which is a self- help, well- being approach for supporting mental health, resilience and empathy. The role of the ambassadors will be to assist their peers to use the Rest Easy resources at lunchtime and to pass on any concerns to the staff Rest Easy team.
The latest Writing Club Anthology is now on Amazon to order.
Mollie Croxon visited us this afternoon to teach the Young Leaders in readiness for the Year 3 School Games County Engagement event on Wednesday. Each group of 3 will be running a station at the event which has schools coming from the whole of Shropshire.
Today was a very special day as we united by showing support for Ukraine by dressing in blue and yellow. It was wonderful for all the school to be together to show support for Ukraine during this difficult time. In the afternoon, class 2 pupils organised and served every pupil with a delicious ice cream topped with blue sauce. A very special day and one that will be remembered.
We had a great afternoon at Ellesmere College participating in the North Shropshire Tennis Festival, the children played against the other schools in their wonderful indoor facility.
We had 2 children attend this event on Saturday - congratulations on your result!
I love it when children come to visit me and share their progress. This independent letter opening from one of our Year 2 pupils really made me smile.
Today was a day full of excitement as the whole school supported the Comic Relief Red Nose Day charity.
