• Sportshall Athletics Final Meet

  The final of 3 Sportshall Athletics competitions was held last night at the Marches.  Our team of 8 children competed in Vertical High Jump, Javelin, Speed Bounce and an obstacle relay culminating in a final 6th place position out of 11 schools, as a small school we are very proud of this sporting achievement.

  Many thanks to our parents who transported the children to and from the event.

  

• Police Visit to class 1

  Class 1 had a superb visit from the Police today. We listened carefully, tried on clothes, sat in the car and tested the sirens and lights.

  Well done to our Year 4 Dodgeball team who competed against 10 other local schools to triumphantly return with the competition trophy!

• Class 1 and nursery fed a baby lamb

  Class 1 and nursery have been thinking about what they want to be when they grow up. Today a farmer and a baby lamb came to visit us and talk about farming.

  

• Sportshall Athletics

  This was the first meet of three for the Sportshall Athletics held at the Marches school, the team had to compete in standing long jump, chest push and relay running races.

  

• Dodgeball Competition

  Our Dodgeball team achieved an amazing 3rd place today out of 11 teams from our cluster taking part, they won 7 games, drew 1 and narrowly lost 3 with some brilliant shots and catches - well done to them all!
