  • Be a courageous advocate

    We have raised £165.61 with a non-uniform day and cookie sale to send to the disaster appeal for the Turkey and Syria Earthquake. Our year four and five pupils spent sometime thinking about how we can be a courageous advocate and stand up for those who need our help. Have a look at the posters for some super ideas.

    Today we opened up school for our young entrepreneurs who have been working on ways to set up, market and run their own business. All of our Year 5 and Year 6 pupils were involved in selling products to the rest of the school. It was a huge success and great fun. Thank you also to all those adults, parents and our wonderful PTA for helping and supporting.

    This week the whole school is spending time finding out more about Mental Health. Together we watched a LIVE performance and back in class developed our understanding through a range of tasks.

    We are thrilled to announce that one of our Y4 pupils has won a wildlife photography competition run by Chester University. She will have her award presented at a special evening hosted by Springwatch star Iolo Williams.

    National Internet Safety Day

    Today we gathered in the hall to focus on ways in which we can use the Internet , but also remain safe whilst online. Later this week we will continue back in our classes to learn more about keeping safe when accessing the Internet. A huge thank you to both BBC and ParentZone for their resources and live lessons.
