  • Level 3 Tag Rugby

    Our team went to Whitchurch Rugby Club for the county qualifier where they played three great matches against Prees, Whittington and Whixhall.  The weather conditions were dreadful with wind, rain and cold, however, they played some super matches against some very strong teams.

  • Dodgeball

    The Year 6 Dodgeball team finished in 2nd place this morning winning 11 games out of a possible 12!

  • Orienteering

    A great result today in the Orienteering with our team finishing in 1st place!

  • Tag Rugby Team Practice

    The team have had a great practice session at Lakelands today led by our SGO and 2 Year 10 sports leaders ready for the Level 3 competition next week.

  • Winner of the Chester University Wildlife Photography competition

    Here are some photos of the prize-giving day, where one of our Y4 students was presented with a nestbox for coming second in the competition. It was a fun day and Iolo Williams in particular gave a very inspiring talk. There will be another competition in May. 

     

    Our student's picture was of a Mopane worm. She took it on holiday in South Africa- at her granny and grampa’s house out on the nature reserve. 

  • Visit to the Flaxmill

    We had a wonderful time with a few of our Y5 pupils today testing out the new Museum at the Flaxmill and Maltings in Shrewsbury.   We always enjoy working with our heritage partners and this has been a brilliant experience. Teachers can plan but it takes a child to shine a light on the excitement of a new idea. 

  • KS1 Indoor Athletics

    A great result for our team this morning finishing in 1st place in our inter school athletics competition against 4 other schools.  A big thank you to our Year 6 leaders who helped to run the event - we had lots of fantastic comments from members of staff of visiting schools!
