When children have not been allowed to be altogether for 18 months it is an absolute joy to see them all together on the field in the September sunshine.
Blessed!
Thank you to our wonderful PTA for a super cake stall and raffle on Saturday. It was great to see so many faces from our community outside enjoying the fresh air. Pupils old and new rebuilding our community after far too long apart. Let’s hope this is the beginning of a move forward.
Look at the fun we had camping with the Year 6 children.
One of our wonderful year 5's at Criftins, had an important job to do this morning. She was approached by BBC Radio Shropshire to do a LIVE chat about some incredible work she has been doing in Brownies towards her Gold badge. As part of her 'community action' she has been making blankets for the homeless. You can hear how she has done this, and listen to her interview online. Her chat featured at 8.38am. Well done young lady, we are very proud of you. You have brilliantly demonstrated a number of our school values in your brilliant work for the homeless.
I had such a lovely morning talking to our children about their learning. Pupil voice is such a powerful tool.
Class 4 - our Class of 2021 showing off their new leavers hoodies - don't they look smart?
Also in the picture is our lovely Mr.Kennard who leaves us today after spending time with Class 4 while he completed his final year teacher training.
Good luck Mr.Kennard we all wish you well in everything you do.
Mr John Hynes as been elected as a co-opted governor on to our Federation Governing Body. He will be supporting us with all our Health and Safety work over the next four years as well has adding to the strategic vision of the school. I am sure many of you know Mr Hynes well and will support him as he helps to move the school forward.
He has taken some wonderful photos of the school this weekend on sunny Saturday! We really can't wait until we see our playground full of happy children once again.
