We have a proper modern day "Womble" here at Criftins!
This thoughtful young man was nominated for Young Good Citizen 2021 by our two Local Community Police Officers for Litter Picking in his community environment of Ellesmere during lockdown last year.
He attended a special award ceremony at Worcester police headquarters on 1st November and was presented with his award.
Well done young man - for caring and looking after our beautiful environment in and around Ellesmere. Keep up the good work!
Thank you for all your generous donations, we enjoyed visiting TESCO today to drop off a whole trolley full of goodies for our local food bank. Your generosity will make a difference.
Today was a wonderful event for MathsWhizz Super Heroes. Over the Summer holidays lots of pupils have continued to ensure they were accessing Mathswhizz, but some pupils went over and above by doing lots and lots of online work.
Today was a celebration event hosted by Mathswhizz for 5 Golden Ticket Winners. Well done.
We have secured funding through the Opening Schools Facilities Fund and one of our purchases has been a crash mat for Gymnastics Club which has already been put to good use!
We are delighted that walking bus has returned. Register at school so your child can have a healthy happy start to the school day.
Our medal winning football teams!
A team went to Oswestry School for an Inter-School Football Competition against our local cluster schools.
It is great to have a wander round school and see all the children working and focused from the moment they get to school. It was great to see our new Power Maths programme in action and the lovely calm working atmosphere across school. The children were very keen to talk about their learning everywhere I went.
We are delighted that we can finally use this wonderful alter set, gifted to us by one of our families. Coming together for Collective Worship is a wonderful step forward this term. We love being together in our school.
Fantastic competition at Whittington School this afternoon for our Year 2 children! They played some great games and were thrilled with their medals!
