  • High Five Netball

    Our High Five Netball team were placed 3rd out of 8 teams behind Whittington and Bryn Offa, the team played some great netball!

  • Sportshall Athletics 2

    Our team competed at the second athletics meeting at the Marches School.

  • Basketball

    Our Basketball team went to the Marches this week to play in an inter-school mixed competition where they played against 7 other schools.  They finished in 2nd place after the first round winning 2 matches and losing one which meant they qualified for the trophy final where they also won two and narrowly lost one.

    This was the first time we had competed in this event, 2 boys and 2 girls from Years 5 and 6 took part in Standing Long Jump, Chest Push and relay races. We finished in 3rd place after the first round which was a brilliant first result!

  • Arts Council selected

    We love giving our children an experience of the real world. Four children have be awarded a place on the arts council. The Ambassadors read all the application forms and selected pupils to interview. They made a really difficult decision. Exciting new projects ahead. 

  • DT project success

    You know when a project has had impact when you hear a child in class one say "are these for sale?"  What a range of individual vehicles created by class two, they made me smile because I love to see children's personality expressed in their work. 

  • Year 3 Engagement Event

    Our Year 3 children had a great time experiencing lots of different sports at Shrewsbury Sports Village, with our amazing Year 6 leaders running the stations for Mollie, our SGO, and Jake from Energize our Active Partnership from Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin.

  • The new Safety Squad gave their first assembly.

    The theme of their talk was How to Keep Safe in the Dark. They gave us lots of useful, practical tips.

  • Tag Rugby

    A great result from the Tag Rugby competition - we finished equal first with Whittington and the final position after try difference was 2nd.  This was an amazing result for the team who got better and better as the competition went on!
    As we are in a different sports cluster we too have qualified for the next round!
