The whole school had a great Monday morning taking part in a Chance to Shine Cricket Engagement session run by Tyler from the Shropshire Cricket Board.
A morning of rain today, life in the outdoors is very special. A lovely camp fire to end the day, Mr Jones even got the guitar out. See you all tomorrow.

The girls had a fun session this afternoon when we joined in with #LetGirlsPlay Biggest EVER Football Session. By 2024 The FA’s and Barclays ambition is for girls to have the same football opportunities as boys in schools and clubs. It is a campaign to drive influence and change perceptions, showing that football can and should be played by girls.

We had a great morning today hosting the KS1 Athletics competition joined by Whittington,Cockshutt, Gobowen and Welshampton schools competing in field and track events. A huge thank you goes to our Y6 Young Leaders who were absolutely fantastic helping to run the competition.
It is wonderful to get outdoors. We managed to stay dry today as we completed out sponsored walk around our lovely school. It is amazing to think that for 90 years children and families have been walking to school in our special community.
Thank you to all our sponsors for your generous donations, all monies will be donated towards an outdoor reading shelter for the children, accessible to all.
Finally, thank you to Mrs Phillips for designing the route for us, the children were pleased to see her.
