• Cross Country Final

  Our final cross  country meet took place today, no rain for a change!

  Great runs from all of our team members - thank you to all the parents who have transported them to the Marches over the last few weeks.

  

• PE on the Field

  We have had a wonderful warm and sunny afternoon of PE on the school field today for Classes 3 and 4!

  Shropshire cricket coach, Lara, has been practising batting and fielding.

  

• Dance With Jenna

  Class 3 had a great opportunity to take part in a dance session with Jenna from Border Counties School of Dance.

  The children worked in small groups practising dance moves and then Jenna went on to teach them a dance routine.

  Border Counties School of Dance are based in St Martins School and all abilities are welcome to a trial session.  For further information please the the attached flyer.

  

• We held a special Picture News meeting to celebrate Y6 singing to Princess Anne

• A Royal Visitor

  Today, Criftins CofE Primary School were  invited to sing for HRH Princess Anne alongside Cockshutt C of E Primary School. The children sang two songs and spoke to the princess about the worksheet they were completing in between songs. The sun was shining and we had a brilliant time. A memorable day for our children that they won’t be forgetting anytime soon!

• Orienteering

  Our Year 5 Orienteering team had a very busy afternoon competing at the Marches, they finished in 3rd place only 1 point behind the winners!

  

• Girls only Cricket

  Year 4 and 5 girls had a great morning at Frankton Cricket Club playing friendly games against 5 other schools.

• Shropshire Schools Half Marathon

  An amazing event run by Joe Williams with 1600 children from Shropshire running their final 1.1 mile to complete their cumulative half marathon. Criftins had 29 runners ready to run and experience the thrill of running in an official half marathon.
