The sun shone on us this afternoon for our Sports Day! Year 9 Sports Leaders from Lakelands did a brilliant job helping with the running and scoring of the field events, thank you to all the staff and of course the children for making it a great afternoon.
Years 4,5 & 6 had a wonderful time at Shropshire Sings on Wednesday where they sang their hearts out for friends and family. A big shout out to Mr Jones for organising and helping the pupils to prepare for this amazing event!

We have had another fantastic event at Queensway today!
We had a great day in Birmingham competing against Marches Academy schools!
We marked the 80th anniversary of D-Day with a special service in the hall, where we learnt about the events of D Day and lit candles to remember the fallen. Following the service, all of the children completed a piece of work about D Day and we have displayed it in the entrance to the school hall. Some beautiful, poignant work produced. Well done to everyone involved!
We’ve had a brilliant day at The Holroyd Theatre at Moreton Hall School. We were taught songs by two men from ‘John’s Boys’ (a male voice choir who were on Britain’s Got Talent last year). Towards the end of the day, we performed the songs to an audience. What a wonderful experience!
We were delighted today to receive our notification that Criftins has been identified as a Safer School. A huge thankyou to all the parents who completed wonderful feedback from our questionnaire sent out before the half term holiday.
