What has been happening in school? Have a read 😊
Over the past few weeks Year 5 and 6 have been taking part in Gymnastics as part of their PE lessons. They have, in groups, been working together to plan and perform their own routines which will go towards house points for next term
What a wonderful service! Thank you to all who attended our Easter Service this morning. The children were fantastic and should be super proud of themselves! As always, Reverend Gareth was so supportive of everything that we do in school and blessed us all in church.
Happy Easter to all!
Congratulations to 1st, 2nd and 3rd!
All pupils who took part and spent time creating these wonderful crosses have all received a small token (chocolate). Well done to all!
We are so thankful to the families who have entered our Easter Cross Competition. They are fantastic! It was so tricky to decide between them all for the top three but the judge has made their final decision. Pupils will be informed following the Easter service tomorrow. Congratulations to all for creating such lovely crosses.
Happy Easter 🐣
Today was our very first Active Travel to school using our Active Travel Grant. We met with parents at The Working Men’s Club and together cycled through our wonderful lanes. Our school is placed in such a beautiful part of rural North Shropshire. A perfect way to arrive in school full of promise and feeling good for the day ahead. Each Friday we hope you can join us. Remember School has both bikes and scooters for families to borrow.
Thankyou so much to everyone involved in our Easter Bingo. With a full house of families fabulous Easter prizes, food and a whopping cash prize final game it was a super night. School and PTA raised near on £800. Wow. Eyes down and thankyou !
New UK legislations means any business, including schools with more than 10 employees must separate rubbish and waster for recycling. Welcome to our new Eco Warriors who each week will be helping to check our bins ! Waste should be organised into separate containers for Food, Plastic, Metal and Glass, Paper, Card and Cardboard and General Waste.
Class 4 are busy practising their routines to take part in an inter-house competition. They have spent the last few weeks in their PE lessons preparing to jump, roll and balance and are now planning their routines in groups ready for Mrs Ellis to judge.
