What has been happening in school? Have a read 😊
We said a final goodbye to the incomparable Mrs. Jones who has given such dedication, strength, guidance and energy to Criftins for 16 years. The warmth on the childrens’ faces was wonderful to see. We will miss her enormously.
We have been celebrating the religious festival Diwali. It has been fantastic learning about the festival of light and the story of Rama and Sita. It is important for pupils to learn about and understand the festivals of other religions as well as their own. The pupils have learnt dances, created Rangoli patterns, role played the story and have taken part in many other activities related to the exciting celebration.
Welcome back to school for Autumn 2. Our new school value for the half term is Respect. Jane Webber came in and spoke to the pupils about respecting rules and as usual she brought a special friend to help her share the bible stories.
An amazing selection of artwork from all classes! Congratulations to our winners.
Congratulations to the winners and to everyone who entered. The standard was amazingly high and the creativity was wonderful.
