Year 6 Lakelands Transition Morning

Nine of our Year 6 children who are due to move up to Lakelands in September enjoyed a multi sports morning organised by Year 10 Lakelands’ pupils and our SGO Louis Gray.
Lakelands Academy has been participating in a Youth Voice project with the Youth Sports Trust, as a result of the project the group of Year 10 students who took part decided to organise a multi sports festival for Year 6 students who will be joining the school in September. Three of the leaders today were pupils from Criftins so not only was it great to see them but also familiar faces that our Year 6 will recognise when they start in Year 7.
