Rosemary Horton Award
In 2025, this award was presented to Ivy, a pupil who truly embodies what it means to be a Criftins pupil. Ivy lives out our values in everything she does. She is humble, kind-hearted and aspirational, always striving to be the very best version of herself. She approaches every challenge with determination and resilience, always working hard. She treats others with kindness and respect, and is a positive influence on those around her. Ivy leads by example, not by seeking recognition, but simply by being herself.
This year (2024), the Rosemary Holton Award was given to a pupil who truly embodies humility and kindness. With her gentle nature, strong moral compass, and impeccable behaviour throughout her time at Criftins, she has never once put a foot wrong. She has been a quiet yet powerful role model, and her genuine shock at receiving the award only highlights her modesty. A truly deserving winner, we are proud of her.
The award was given to this young man in 2023. He has worked incredibly hard throughout his school career and is often a role model to pupils of all ages. He has a great attitude to life and learning and has made a wonderful contribution to life in school. We wish him every success as he moves to Secondary School, he will be an asset to any organisation.
Congratulations to our first pupil to receive the Rosemary Horton Award. This pupil embodies the values of the school and has an excellent attitude in all areas of the curriculum. She makes the most of every opportunity and we wish her every success as she moves on to Lakelands Academy.
