Over the next two days we welcome back Darrell to help us create another 3d extravaganza for our new library. All pupils will be involved in this amazing project which will combine imagination, creativity and a love of books. The finished product will represent an open book of pages with all sorts of wonderful ideas flying out.
Bonfire night can be great fun but it can also be very dangerous. Please stay a safe distance away from the fore and the fireworks.
If your clothes do catch fire remember to stop, drop and roll. You can find more information on what to do here: Stop, drop and roll | Child Accident Prevention Trust (capt.org.uk)
Over Halloween and bonfire night we want you and you children to have fun but stay safe. StayWise has some great advice to celebrate Halloween safely. Check out their top tips here: Halloween Safety Advice | StayWise
Criftins children are enjoying the new lunchtime playground activities which are helping our children be ‘60 minutes active.’ We have different activities and equipment each day with a rota system for the main activity with staff actively supporting and Year 6 Sports Leaders setting up, timing and helping to organise.
KS1 children are playing with KS2 throughout the play areas with the older children taking a leadership role with which is so lovely to see!
Our new library area is looking great!
This week is all about looking after ourselves and developing a greater awareness of Mental Health. Together the whole school gathered to find out more about how we can help ourselves and others.
The message this year was "Keep Talking". It was a simple, but powerful, message that explained that other people care about you and a worry shared is a worry halved.
