We had a great afternoon at Lakelands this afternoon playing rounders lead by the Young Leaders from Lakelands.
Folk band The Young ‘Uns came to help us write a folk song about a local workhouse woman we’d been studying in History. See Class 3’s Gallery page to watch a video of the final performance.
We have had a great day today at Fenton Manor - the girls have been amazing!
It’s that time of year again - Sports Day! What a wonderful day the children have had, competing and taking part in a wide range of sporting events. A huge thank you to Lakelands secondary school who came over to support us, it was lovely to see some past pupils amongst the team.
Have you got your trainers ready? Will you do the 2 or 5k ? Come along and cheer on the children an adults.
Please park at the Working Men’s Club and keep the lanes clear. 2k starts at 6pm.
The Treasure hunt is available at any point during the evening.

In association with the Youth Sports Trust we, as a school, have pledged to keep young people active for 60 minutes a day, for the UK's biggest annual celebration of PE, play and sport.
The children will be completing a weekly planner to record the number of active minutes each day.

We have had an amazing day at Queensway today with 27 children competing in track and field events finishing in 2nd place in the small schools section.
