Year 6 Applications to Secondary School September 2024
Please ensure all applications are made to Shropshire Council Online by 31st October, 2023. There will be NO grace for late applications.
Applicants will be notified of their allocated school on 1st March 2024.
Starting Primary School September 2024
Children born between 1 September 2019 and 31 August 2020 can start primary school from September 2024. Applications to join the school can be made via the below link on the Shropshire Council Website. You must apply by 15 January 2024. If there is a reason why your application is late i.e. due to a house move, please email school-admissions@shropshire.gov.uk to advise. The Nation Offer Day for infant and primary school is 16 April 2024.
Application for Free School Transport
Any parents/carers of year 6 pupils, who wish to apply for free school transport for their child/children from September 2024, should do so before 31st May 2024. Applications can be made online at https://shropshire.gov.uk/school-transport/ or over the phone with the Council’s Customer Service Team by calling 0345 6789008. Alternatively, should you require a paper copy of the application form, please do not hesitate to contact the school or Passenger Transport directly via email, schooltransport@shropshire.gov.uk or over the phone on the above telephone number. It is important to explain that, if the application is not received by 31st May 2024, the Authority may be unable to provide transport for the beginning of the autumn term and parents/carers will need to make their own transport arrangements. Access to school transport is not permitted until entitlement has been confirmed.
