We had an unexpected visitor in Criftins today - it was Mary Anning. We used a hot seating technique to find out a wealth of information about her life. We will be using this information to write biographies.

We learnt about the three types of rock - igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic. The children learnt about the formation processes with visual representations (jelly, sand and chocolate!).
