For ‘It’s Good to be Me’ day, we dressed up as characters who had inspired us.

Author Tom Percival came to explore story-writing and illustrating with us.

Class 3 and 4 worked together on history displays about the Cambrian Railway

Y5 did pond dipping. We found stickleback, ramshorn snails, dragonfly nymphs, diving beetles and a newt.

In Science, we studied the life cycle of dragonflies and damselflies.

DT Challenge: we made Jubilee crowns.

Shropshire Community Health

Today we welcomed Jacqui and Kelly from Shropshire Nursing Team to talk to our pupils about Mental Health and well being. It was good to be able to think about us as individuals and how we have coped with the many changes that have occurred. Some of these changes are in response to COVID but also how we cope with every day. Some times life can be a challenge and it is important to develop strategies to enable us to be able to cope.
