Celebrating World Book Day.

What a wonderful way to end the week with a dressing up day. This year, at Criftins we decided to create our own book character and dress up in the style of that character. Here we can see Class 2 pupils in a super range of costumes, outfits and even some props to bring the magic of the character alive. Wow, such a great fun day !

This afternoon we had a leaving party for a very special boy from our class. Everyone from Class 2 would like to wish him the very best in his new adventure.

Some great dance moves were on display!

For mental health awareness week we joined class 3 for a discussion about what mental health means and how we can maintain good mental health. We then made an informative leaflet with some facts about mental health and some self help techniques.
We have been busy making some artwork about the great fire of London 🔥 ready for our display. We have been learning about how  for the fire spread so quickly and engulfed the whole city.
Today we have been using different methods to show and check missing number equations.
We are looking forward to filling our new Great Fire of London display wall with all of the fantastic work we complete over this term.
This term, our school value is respect. We have been looking at what respect means and also how we can show it. We have discussed the importance of respecting people’s differences, feelings, emotions, decisions, opinions and needs. As everyone is unique, we have decided that respecting people’s differences is extremely important.
