Class Work and News

As part of our geography unit, we planned and followed a route around Criftins. We ended the walk at Mrs Pitcher’s house where we enjoyed a picnic lunch. What a fabulous day!

In our computing lesson today, we brought some of the characters from our story to life using augmented reality. We had lots of fun!

Dressing up as people who inspire us. What a super effort!

Months ago, we emailed Tom Percival to tell him how much we enjoyed his book ‘Ruby’s Worry’. Fast forward to June, and Tom Percival visited Criftins! A dream come true for the many Tom Percival mega fans in Class 2. What a special and inspiring day! We did a workshop with him in the hall and then had story time with him in our classroom. Tom read ‘Invisible’ to us. We will never forget this day!

The finished piece! Darrell worked with Class 2, 3 and 4 over three days to create this masterpiece. The children learnt so many new skills. An incredible week. Thank you Darrell!
