Mr Smout kindly visited Class 3 today to enhance their learning on Kings and Queens (our history topic for this term). It was a thoroughly enjoyable morning and we all learnt so many new facts about our Royals! Mr Smout taught us all about the current Royal Family, Trooping the Colour and Queen Elizabeth II’s reign. In addition, he spoke to us about his job as a Royal Welsh Guard, which includes changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace and playing the drums as part of the band.

A wonderful trip to Theatre Clwyd

This week, we travelled to Theatre Clwyd to watch the Jacqueline Wilson production of ‘Wave Me Goodbye’ and take part in a World War II evacuee workshop.

We had a brilliant time!
