This week our Over and Above pupil has been extra helpful and extra supportive with one of our pupils. A huge thank you.
It was wonderful to welcome all of our new class of pupils back to school. This week we decided to focus on Times Tables and how quickly we can recall these essential facts. The government would like all pupils by the end of year 4 to know all of their Times Tables. It’s important that in year 6 we put lots of extra effort into learning these much needed facts.
In school we are always looking for pupils who go that extra mile, that produce the extra special, the extra ordinary or even the unexpected. We call this Over and Above. In our first week I felt we had two boys who excelled in rapid recall of their times tables. For this week they are my Over and Above Superstars.
