A special remembrance visit to St Matthew’s Church. We looked at various war memorials including a gravestone of a solider who died after returning to Criftins, aged 22. Thank you Reverend Gareth for inviting us.

Thank you to the children who brought in artefacts linked to the war, as part of Remembrance Day. Bringing history to life!

Year 6 Road Safety Training and Bikeability Scheme.

Today, we held a farewell tea party for Mrs Jones. After dedicating 17 years to Criftins as both a teacher and headteacher, Mrs. Jones has truly left a lasting legacy.

Exploring Creation in the Book of Genesis throughout different versions of the Bible.

English Pathways.

Writing is about understanding, doing and being able to immerse yourself into the character and setting. Today we focussed on the cafe scene from our text on Star of fear, Star of Hope.

Science Researching

Finding out about Evolution involves researching about Fossils. Today was about working with technology to discover the different types of fossils. Come back soon to see what we are doing next time.

Football ready in their new kits. The boys are off to Ellesmere College today for an all day tournament. Good luck!

The RestEasy squad are ready to deliver their second assembly. This time, it’s for Class 1 to explain what the RestEasy team can do to support young people on the playground.

We enjoyed a special ‘Welcome Back’ edition of Picture News. We discussed differences and community and also how we can make sure everyone feels welcome, happy and safe.
